New Online Courses Now Available
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Competency Australia has been rapidly developing new online courses and updating existing content for online delivery for remote learning utilising virtual classroom and online environment.
Our existing distance education options, including TLI50618 - Diploma of Railway Operations, 10780NAT - Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling are continuing as planned.
New online training options include signal equipment training, available for blended learning. This means you can be certified for theory components immediately through remote learning, and complete practical assessments at a later date.

10780NAT Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling Now Available
The nationally recognised training course - 10780NAT Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling is now available through Competency Australia.
Since the discontinuation of the Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling offered through Central Queensland University (CQU), we have worked with Rail Innovation Australia (RIA), CQU and the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) Australiasia to gain course accreditation under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
The course is appropriate for individuals working in the fields of signalling design, signalling maintenance, signalling construction, control systems and project engineering within the railway environment.
The course material has been developed by experienced railway signal engineers and practitioners who are members of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) Australasian Section. The course material is owned by the IRSE and Rail CRC Participants and licenced to Competency Australia.
